Senior FP&A Manager
THIS ROLE IS FULLY REMOTE HOWEVER YOU WILL NEED TO TRAVEL TO OUR MANCHESTER OFFICE 1 DAY PER WEEK
Purpose of the Role:
The Senior FP&A Manager will be a key member of the Group FP&A team, responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving performance across the organisation. This is a hands-on role where the individual will be the primary executor of FP&A tasks, working closely with platform FP&A teams and senior stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful reporting.
Key Role Accountabilities:
Monthly / Quarterly Reporting & MI
Prepare the monthly group results pack, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear insights for senior stakeholders
Interpret and communicate to management results and trends across the Group, providing analysis that allows management to deliver on their operational responsibilities and take actions to drive improved performance.Assist with enhancing strategic, executive level reporting related to P&L, cash and balance sheet that aids the identification and communication of performance issues.
Prepare quarterly Board reporting, working closely with senior finance leadership to deliver clear, concise, and impactful materials
Develop our Power BI financial reporting infrastructure.Identify areas to improve reporting, including systems and processes, and make recommendations for changes.
Prepare ad hoc analysis at speed and under pressure, responding quickly to business needs and senior leadership requests
Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
Be the key driver of the end to end group budget and forecast processes, working closely with Platform FP&A teams to ensure quality delivery within agreed timescales.
Review the business plans from Platforms in line with the groups’ long-term plans and objectives, and provide inputs to the strategic planning process.
Produce analysis of current performance against budget and forecast future expectations.
Assist in the production of information packs on budgets and forecasts for distribution to Exco and Board.
Qualifications & Experience:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
Experience in Transaction Services (Big 4 or similar), with strong exposure to financial due diligence.
Desirable:
Familiarity with planning and consolidation tools (Anaplan, Tagetik).
Previous FP&A experience in a group or multi-platform environment.
Exposure to advanced data projects.
Experience of working in the Financial Services industry.

Technical Skills:
Advanced Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, modelling).
Experience with Power Query or Alteryx, and Power BI.
Excellent PowerPoint skills.
